    Description
    • Support SPAWAR technical authority for networks, information assurance, and enterprise services. Evaluate Navy communication systems and networks design data/drawings/matrixes, prepare and review appropriate interface specifications, integration plans and inputs, and other related documentation.
    • Support new technology investigations, technical strategic planning, programs in development, experiments, and other technical initiatives. Attend critical technical forums, technical exchanges, IPTs, and Track Science and Technology efforts, and coordinate requirements for these initiatives. Provide Fleet liaison support, assist in the resolution of fleet issues and concerns, coordinating with Navy commands and organizations.
    • Support production acceptance test and analyses, analyze designs, applicable performance specifications and technical data associated with systems and software to include reviewing requests for deviations and waivers, technical reports and first article test procedures and reports.
    • Generate documentation to support Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), procurement of non-developmental items, or commercial-off-the-shelf systems, knowledge of applicable DoD and SPAWAR guiding documents.
    • Support Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS) integration of systems to the ISNS Network. Support Naval Change Request (NCR) submission process to incorporate engineering change proposals (ECPs) for baselined systems. Analyze the current PSC process and recommend process improvement, including improvement of the PSC process workflow swim lane charts. Shall be proficient with the PSC process, Teamcenter, CMPro workflow management, and generating Power Point briefs and metrics from the data collected in CMPro.
    • Develop Production Scheduling tools to track product line increments against required JCIDS documentation, installation schedules and Fleet capability inputs. The Production Scheduling tool shall have the capability to generate reports to be used by management. The tool shall include the ability to sort by program of record, platform, and fleet requirement as well as additional attributes such as Fleet Top Ten or Net-Ready Levels of the POR increment being delivered.
    • Desired experience with Navy shipboard networks, network monitoring tools, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks, IP(v)6, IA products including the Certification Authority Workstation (CAW) and the Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Guards to provide encryption and digital signatures for organizational messaging, common core enterprise services and service oriented architecture (SOA), to replace client-server DMS architecture, and tactical messaging.

    Description
    • Provide NMCI support to Navy and support staff. Track and manage NMCI assets, ordering, communicating NMCI guidance from the support staff, assisting in tech refreshes, and providing NMCI assistance to staff personnel.
    • Assist with moving IT equipment within the facilities, ordering phone service, reporting IT facilities issues.
    • Coordinate IT requirements for special events, meetings, conferences and work groups, arrange for and set up appropriate equipment such as setup and operation of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment and other audio-visual equipment,

Knowledge and compliance with all security regulations and instructions concerning handling and storage of classified material under their control.
    • Experience with applications that are compatible with NMCI (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft OS, etc.) Understanding of technology associated with the networking, operating systems and applications with some programming experience.
