Norfolk, Virginia Facility
Our Defense Information Technology Division specializes in networking hardware and software integration engineering services. Staffed with personnel experienced in all aspects of information technology, we are specialists in Navy-wide communications systems providing leading edge solutions. These solutions provide IP connectivity to units of the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets, both pier side and underway. We are universally recognized as subject matter experts for problem resolution, providing in-depth mentoring and training for the Atlantic and Pacific submarine fleets as part of the Mobile Training Team.
The charter of the Mobile Training Team is to provide a tailored, targeted curriculum, incorporating ship-specific configurations. The curriculum provides attendees with an intense, fast paced course of study which is modifiable to ensure that personnel of all experience levels are able to manage / troubleshoot their onboard systems. The classroom regimen includes lecture and laboratory time with the systems the attendees will be required to operate on their respective ships. The laboratory courses are designed to reinforce the concepts discussed during the classroom phase.
Our network engineers in the Norfolk office are industry leaders in the emerging field of network baselining, which involves changes in network performance before these changes become debilitating. This expertise can be applied to both military and civilian networks.
