Small Woman Owned Business Awarded $82 Million contract for C4ISR Sustainment Task with NIWC Atlantic.
SAN DIEGO, January 18, 2022:

Predicate Logic, Inc. a Small Woman Owned Defense Contractor headquartered in San Diego, with offices in Charleston SC and Chesapeake VA, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, was awarded a $82,677,761.83, 5-year Task Order contract by Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic). The work will be performed in California, South Carolina, Virginia, North Carolina, Hawaii, Japan, Yuma, and Washington.

Our contract award supports from NIWC Atlantic, the MEFs and MARSYSCOM with Field Service Representatives (FSR), Fielding, Training, Supply Chain Management (SCM) and maintenance support services to the Portfolio Manager (PfM) Command Element Systems (CES), Marine Corps Intelligence Schools, and PMA-263 for Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems at garrison, deployed and shipboard locations worldwide

Small Woman Owned Business Awarded $95 Million contract for Shore Submarine Communications System Support.

SAN DIEGO, January 14, 2022:

Predicate Logic, Inc. a Small Woman Owned Defense Contractor headquartered in San Diego, with offices in Charleston SC and Chesapeake VA, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, was awarded a $95,719,910.65, 5-year Task Order contract by Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic). The work encompasses engineering analysis and technical support services required to support the Shore Submarine Communications Systems (SSCS). The work will be performed in California, Virginia, Hawaii, Japan, Italy, Georgia, and Washington.

Our contract award helps support the Submarine Communications Program Office’s goal of seamless, end-to-end communications, Information Exchange System (IXS) to Internet Protocol (IP) Transition, and Higher Data Rates for the Submarine Force. This effort has been focused on improving stealthy communications, continuing the IXS to IP transition efforts, and increasing our submarines’ worldwide communications capabilities

SUBOPAUTH NETWORK ENGINEER (Italy)

Predicate Logic is looking for a network engineer to join our Submarine Operating Authority Enterprise (SOA-E) team providing communications and network technical support for the U.S. Navy Submarine Force. Predicate Logic is currently accepting resumes for a Network Engineer opening in Naples, Italy supporting CTF 69.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Possess a current/active Top Secret security clearance. Must be eligible for SCI Access.
  • Experience with Submarine Communications, including RF paths providing IP connectivity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Fleet personnel afloat and ashore in the troubleshooting and repair of serial and IP based communications systems.
  • Act as the liaison to the appropriate In Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) to ensure problems that cannot be corrected locally are resolved by outside personnel.
  • Develop and provide test and evaluation support for new concepts, lead site testing, System Operational Verification
  • Testing and other test events that require network engineering expertise.

  • Assist government personnel in maintaining strict configuration control of current architectures.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of secure build techniques, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
  • Participate in Submarine Operating Authority Engineering reviews.
  • Provide technical representation at meetings as required to represent the Submarine Operating Authority systems.
  • Provide Network Administration of the Submarine Operating Authority Servers.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to configure CISCO routers and switches locally and remote.
  • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP protocols (emphasis on Multicast) and Doman Name Systems (DNS).
  • Expert knowledge of network architectures and associated equipment including, but not limited to zones, screening devices, and typical design.
  • Expert knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP and EIGRP.
  • Systems Expert on email delivery, specifically including all aspects of POP3 and SMTP.
    • Must have expert knowledge of SMTP and POP Internet RFC’s including transport protocol-level (i.e. Wireshark™) familiarity.
  • Familiarity with direct attached and network attached storage devices, protocols and techniques to include iSCSI.
  • Understanding of Virtual Machines (VM) and knowledge of VM configurations.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with remote users via chat, telephone, naval messaging and email to assist in troubleshooting.
  • CISSP Certification required within 6 months of hire.

    Today’s news: ISO recertification.

    Yesterday, 7 March, 2019, Predicate Logic’s quality processes were recertified under ISO 9001:2015. “We are very proud of this continuing achievement” said CEO Mary Jo Lawler. “This demonstrates our continuing focus on providing high quality services to the Navy and Marine Corps.”

    Today’s news: NxG Contract Award.

    On 4 December 2018, Predicate Logic was awarded a contract under the SeaPort-NxG, N00178-19-D-8323, with a maximum amount of $400,000,000 for Engineering, Technical and Programmatic Support Services. This is a multiple award contract in which Predicate will compete for specific task orders.

    SUBOPAUTH Network Engineer, Norfolk

    Predicate Logic is looking for Network Engineer to join our Submarine Operating Authority (SOA) Engineering team to provide on-site technical support to the COMSUBLANT N6 Staff and watch standers in Norfolk VA to ensure critical submarine communications (Tactical and Strategic) circuits and network architectures are continuously monitored and maintained at the highest state of readiness.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. Top Secret / SCI eligibility
    2. Knowledge of DoD Communications circuits and network architecture

    Responsibilities:

    This position is responsible for providing technical support in the operations, maintenance and repair of all SOA/BCA equipment and components and to provide technical support to the N6 personnel in other programs of record as required to maintain and/or restore critical submarine communications links. They will also provide System Administrative functions on SOA/BCA components to include ensuring watch standers are conducting general preventive maintenance (log reviews, archiving data, defragmentation (if applicable), verification of RAID functions, etc.), performing ISEA Cybersecurity functions such as installing patches, IAVAs and other related items to ensure systems are maintained current and at the highest possible security posture. The position will be one of three SSC Atlantic ISEA representatives at COMSUBLANT and as such will ensure all SPAWAR Configuration Management procedures and policies are adhered to. They will ensure the ISEA office is aware of any installations, site surveys or pre-installation briefs that are taking place and upon completion of such events will provide a summary to the ISEA.

    Requirements:

    1. CISSP highly desired – Security Plus CE acceptable but CISSP within 6 months of taking position
    2. VMWare VCP Certification or potential CISCO CCNA/CCNP
    3. Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science or other related field highly desired but not required if you have sufficient experience
    4. 18 years of experience
    5. Knowledge of DoD Communications circuits and network architecture to include Fleet NOCs and DISA roles highly desirable.
